As a Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of price strategy programs. This includes implementing protocol for continuous competitive analysis and subsequent pricing strategy, tactics & administration. You will be responsible for the end to end maintenance of the program, including adoption of standard operating procedures relating to price and product maintenance. You will work closely with the Operations, Marketing, Customer Success & Strategy departments to develop and continuously improve pricing strategy & administration.

You collaborate effectively with internal & external stakeholders, identifying opportunities to improve existing processes while identifying emerging opportunities. 

What Will You be Doing:

  • Develop a systematic approach to pricing analysis & maintenance
  • Product and maintain required standard operating procedures relative to pricing strategy & administration 
  • Develop & maintain best practices surrounding competitive analysis & the resulting pricing strategy and tactics 
  • Generate actionable recommendations that drive revenue  
  • Work closely with the IT team to implement and maintain the required systems to capture, interpret and manage price related data 
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior management surrounding pricing opportunities and competitive trends
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as required 
  • Create processes and templates as required to standardize pricing related data and decision making
  • Provide guidance to Marketing & Strategy teams to inform pricing strategy on emerging projects 
  • Analyze sales & customer engagement metrics to identify pricing opportunities and best practices 

In order to be successful, you bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Pricing, Business or Strategy Analyst role 
  • Related work experience in product pricing in pharmaceutical or eCommerce industry preferred
  • BS/BA in Accounting, Mathematics or Finance (or a relevant combination of education & experience) 
  • Experience using accounting, CRM & ERP systems 
  • Demonstrated ability to build pricing models, operating procedures & conduct effective competitive analysis 
  • An ability to provide effective strategic guidance while managing daily operations
